is the Green Region of Europe in
fact the largest part of its territory is protected. |
Mountains
cover the 65% of the region,
the
rest part is constituted by green and sweet hills that slope down towards
the Adriatic Sea on the east side. |

The
coastline is about 130 Km long: basically it is low
& sandy but sometimes also rocky.
Along
the coast also many seaside resorts
offer high level accomodation.
The
weather is often sunny, the air is clean & dry,
the
temperature is warm even in winter, when sun comes out. |
